Lead Toddler Teacher

Location: Highlands Ranch, CO

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Salary Range: $20 - $24 per hour (Based on experience and credentials)

The Role

As a Toddler Teacher, you are more than a supervisor; you are a guide through one of the most active stages of development. You will create a classroom environment that encourages sensory play, language development, and social-emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Implementation: Design and execute age-appropriate lesson plans that focus on fine/gross motor skills, creative arts, and early literacy.

  • Daily Care & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom; manage diapering, potty training, and mealtime routines with care and dignity.

  • Observation & Documentation: Track developmental milestones and share "wow" moments with parents through our Procare platform.

  • Parent Partnership: Maintain open, friendly communication with families regarding their child’s daily progress and needs.

  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside assistant teachers and directors to maintain Colorado licensing standards and a positive school culture.

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualifications: Must meet Colorado Lead Teacher qualifications (ECT qualified).

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience working with children ages 12–36 months in a licensed setting.

  • Education: Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field preferred.

  • Skills: High energy, patience, and the ability to "pivot" when a lesson plan needs to change.

  • Certification: Ability to obtain/maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
